郭维森，著名作家，男，祖籍安徽省县，1931年9月出生于江苏省镇江市。1953年毕业于南京大学中文系。现为该系教授。著作有《屈原》、《司马迁》、《陶渊明集全译》（合作）《中国辞赋发展史》（合作）等，并主编有《古代文化知识要览》、《中国文学史话》等书。曾发表论文50余篇。
