全国慰劳总会1938年在汉口成立。主要任务和活动是：慰劳前方将士、荣誉军人、抗战军人家属。诸如组织慰劳团赴前线慰问，给前线将士寄送信件、慰问袋，发动“出钱劳军”运动，救济、援助抗日军人家属等。1942年9月在重庆创办有《好男儿》月刊。
